Legal Question suing a university please help?

Question by : Legal Question suing a university please help?
School refuses to change my grades?
I need some legal advice about suing a university over my student records. I withdrew from some classes because of health problems. I sent in all the required forms and spoke to the school about how to properly withdraw from the classes. I did everything right. The problem is the school said I waited too long and didn’t send in the forms. They are wrong. I have emails of me asking the school multiple times about my withdrawal status. I have emails of me informing a professor of my intent to withdraw. I also have other emails that more than prove my case. The school has been wrong about some of my grades and it took me weeks to get them to make the changes. I am tired of this situation. This has caused me a lot of stress and has caused my grades to drop. The school is refusing to make the changes. I will file the papers to sue them tommorrow. Any advice? I also want to know if I must file the suit in the city of the schhol? I think I can file it in the court near me since it would be with the Illinois Cook County Courts. Please give me any advice uou have. I will sue to have the changes and for emotional distress. This will have to go to a civil court.

I really have no help for you. i think you should seek legal advice. you don’t have to retain the services, but you can have a 1hr. consult to answer any of your questions. You seem to have this well organized. Right down all your questions you want to ask during the consult. hopefully your finances allow you to afford a consult.

otherwise take care and good luck. I hope you are able to find a good resolution.

What do you think? Answer below!

If you do not have a degree in law then your only option is to hire an attorney and they will pursue the matter or you could forget the law suit and go before the full school board and ask there help, if you are contemplating retiring on the proceeds of your law suit better rethink that plan as it is not going to happen and it will cost you at least a 5000 dollar retainer.}{
